@Sillygoose14111 I'm pretty sure she has feelings for him. :) He just doesn't realize (or chooses to ignore it for some reason). :(

Like many others said, I think he is genuine here and wants to let her know what might happen. He trusts her because she wouldn't be targeted by the snipers. And since he had the foresight to think of asking her for help, instead, I think he acts with Moriarty with his delight of calling off the snipers because he wants to egg him on to think they're really like each other so Moriarty can kill himself and prevent him finding out Sherlock faked his death.

love these two...if there's any pairing in this show, it should be Molly and Sherlock!

How does she not see the adorable, eight freaking foot tall, consulting Bumberbutt standing in the middle of the room?! Get eyes woman! :)

all the sherlock clips on youtube and this is the one I keep coming back to.

@TheAquaticCat She got a dead body for him.

I think Sherlock is being completely honest in this scene. Any time we've seen him fake emotion (there are at least three times that I can think of), we've actually seen him "transform," we actually see him slipping in and out of character... (Search Sherlock Acting also posted by MsSherLocked)

He's being genuine I think... You can see him change his attitude towards her after the 'you look sad' scene. He sees her in a new light, and more than just a silly girl that he can manipulate to get what he wants. He's fully capable of developing human relationships! John, Mrs.Hudson etc.

@sternbergzookie Continuation: Were he to wake up one morning as a mind with no body, he probably wouldn't notice until a), he happened to look in a mirror, or b), John started freaking out.

@jrkeegan Oh, I don't know about that. I personally believe that he was speaking to her honestly in this scene, but I think Sherlock is perfectly capable of faking it. Oh, he could start off as exaggerated but learn subtlety; or said exaggeration could be part of a clever plan to lull people into the false security of thinking that they can tell when he's using them. Unlike most people, Sherlock is not distracted by bodily needs or events happening just in his peripheral vision.
I'm pretty sure Molly has to do something with Sherlock faking his death.

I frickin' love this scene so much. I hope Molly returns in the next series. She HAS to.
