Evangelion Explanation in 7 MINUTES!!!

If you want to know what Evangelion is about without having to strain your brain, you came to the RIGHT place! Enjoy!

NOTE: The Ancestral Race was one of the official plot bits of information Hideaki Anno, the creator of Evangelion, decided to release for the series in a PSP game. All of the information was unlockable in the game, known as Classified Files. Now you know! ^_^

This was way too time-consuming, but, wow, was it worth it! I really hope you guys enjoy this as this is the first installment of the Evangelion Analysis Project. I have some really interesting tidbits and theories coming soon! (Hopefully a lot quicker to make than this one.)

i only figured the angel the simply nicknamed adam just happend to be the only one they found and the others who weren't kncked off in their sleep probably stired as a result of adams destruction (15yrs to grow? dead seascroll alarm clock?) your explaination is definatly one that makes sense but the tree of life references in the end of- kind of makes me want to lean towards an interpretation of pre-christian-judarism god than to say 'it was alians' aliens come from somewhere too.

i learned most stuff from commentary but the 'two' egg thing i missed out. it was said humans were the 18th angel and i figured our male/female ability to reproduce was a key defference. angels were a race of 'one' and i figured they needed lillith to reproduce or gain dominance at the cost of wiping out all previous life. we just got a head start and the other angels were left dormant like frozon sperm.

Thanks for the clarification. I picked up most of what happened but this video finally helped me understand what Gendo Ikari was trying to do. I really wish that the show had explained a bit more about how the EVAs are made but wtv...
