I think the line "Han Solo's a dirtbag." line was so much better.

A lot of those lines weren't in the final film. The director had to cut some corners in order to put the cancer subplot back in, because the Weinstein's gave him only 36 hours to do so.

The Cancer plot, thats real, is going to be in the final movie. Seriously, why would they say its based on a true story when the main plot for it is missing?
