  • any hearing problems on ur BP Side?

for ex. everything sounds much louder on the affected side, more sensitive to louder sounds, any pain?

  • Yes to all of the above.

Loud noises became very sharp and painful.

Also, left eye became more sensitive to light.

It's been over a month now, I still can't pucker or smile right, everything else is close to normal. Thanks for your interest.

    James

  • awesome, glad 2 hear u had a great recovery!

  • WOW ONLY 1 MONTH

  • how are u now?

  • bubauw86m, the steroid you take at the very beginning is cordisone which reduces the swelling. It must be taken immediately at the beginning. Also drops or ointment for the eye is of importance because the eye does not shut and this is done to stop perment damage from lack of tearing. No antibiotic drugs are used in this condition.

If you had it I hope you are recoverd as most recover within a few weeks, others like myself it took 4-6 months and I still have a residual.

  • what was the name of the steroids (Antibiotics) u recieved?

  • James, I am your student...
