Henrietta Lacks (August 18 (?), 1920 October 4, 1951) was the involuntary donor of cells from her cancerous tumor, which were cultured by George Otto Gey to create an immortal cell line for medical research. This is now known as the HeLa cell line.

So special, that clowns like you continuously come around and attempt to bicker back and forth with us. If we are so "funny" why do you waste your time. Why not Just ignore us? lol. YOU CANT!

Meanwhile she obviously made some contribution because a book was written about her and her story. Now YOU go out and DO SOMETHING and will add some merit to you meaningless life, something that will force people to give a damn about YOU 50 years after you are dead.

  • P.S. If you want to know more about Henrietta and her family, the research that was done on her cancerous cells, and the medical advancements that were made b/c of research done with her cells, read the 2009/2010 book called "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks". Great read!

  • What makes me REALLY sad about this video is the deplorable English skills with which the poster has labeled it.

    It SHOULD be...

The immortal WOMAN whose cells changed the world.

Henrietta Lacks was one woman. Not women (plural)

    And who's = who is.

Hard to show respect when y'all don't even know how to speak/write. :-(

  • ppd shots they r monsters vaccines yall monsters prisoners ur monster we r they test dummies wow
