I regret so much that the AntiSlaveryInt is so limited to the Uk , I hope that the American guys soon figure out sth which would have a global range

Where can I find more information on this topic? I ask myself if it is the public who are responsable for wanting to pay less and less for clothing. Or if the retailers are actually making big profits from this kind of slavery. Any information would be appreciated. I am interested in fighting this cause but feel under educated on the topic. Thanks

@AntiSlaveryInt: Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it. I'd like to point out that the media's ways of objectifying women frequently include scenes that show the women not as the direct object of someone's gaze, but rather enable the viewer's gaze with the camera as she is shown in a private moment in her home. But I do think you have better intentions and are much more tasteful in your imagery than e.g. Peta ever has been. Looking forward to seeing more and spreading the message!

"According to the Uzbekistan news website RFERL.org, the children are only allowed to sleep four hours a night, cursed at, and forced to pick 220 pounds of cotton a day, more than three times their average possible body weight.
“We don’t have normal drinking water.” One student said. “They wake us up whenever they want and force us to go out onto the field.”
There's hundreds of thousands of children forced into this. This needs to end

Thank god i'm a nihilist.
Please consider making more ads that don't feature half-naked women as the way every message is "sold". I fully support your message against forced child labour but it is sad when even human rights organizations feel the need to conform to the objectification of women that is increasing its hold on the media. This is a trend that needs to be opposed, especially by those aiming to protect the exploited and abused of our world. Exploitation of women and children are linked in very many ways.

@ManiNayar But aren't they linked, also, quite literally in our video? That said, we do take on board your point - and it is a very good one - but I would like to think that the juxtaposition isn't quite as strikingly different as it first appears. I feel it's worth pointing out that she isn't directly objectified - the "view" we have is on a private moment of subjective realisation. I'm not trying to repudiate your criticism at all; as I said, I think we should keep it in mind for the future.
