  • Thanks for the suggestion but as it turns out that's how the flasher operates. It simply shunts power back to ground which normally would be the car frame and essentially becomes a heating element for the small amount of time it's off, the heat expands the bimetallic strip, it expands and cuts the connection thereby resetting the cycle.

  • can i just put a flasher on my system without a relay and still have it do march time?

  • The problem with that is the current required by a bell/horn - flashers are meant to flash low current light bulbs and tend to behave unpredictably under high current load. You can try - worst case scenario is it won't work or it will fry the flasher.

  • can you show me how you hooked up the pull station

  • The video clearly shows all of the wiring. The pull station is nothing more than a switch.

  • there may be a short or somthing wired incrcley if the flasher is turning the whole system on and off,try swaping the flasher and the ralay

  • im geting a bell and i want it to do march time code . what can i do to make it do march time because i dont have a panel and the bell is 24volts. is there something small i can get at radio shack to do that?
