How have you been able to think outside the Watchtower box. Governing body is something that every non profit board is called. How could I've been so stupid for so many years. I knew that something was wrong. I tried to tell a circuit overseer about how 1975 had hurt me badly he cut me off. The CO's face turned red then he told me 1975 was old news and to stop talking about it. He spoke harshly and I thought he was mean but now I understand he was hurting also. We all hurt.

@ExGileadMissionary I believe it is God's arrangement. That's my choice. But I think I have more than their word on the matter. I have their example. None of them are getting rich off of the organization. They demonstrate an overall spirit of peace, mildness and humility. They are not trying to sneak into government in order to manipulate policy, as many religious leaders now do. But, I ask you again, do you vote? If so, are you putting your trust in the men for whom you vote?

Jehovah Witness do really follow the bible and also tell the truth. Church is bunch of crap liars. Church bible say there is going be doomsday, Armageddon, and judgement day in 2012. Why did they let gay people have marriage in a church. Why there is a Satan Church. The truth is Church doesn't tell the truth about the bible.

The crusades is a poor analogy. It wasn't a function of Chrisitianity. It was a response to attacks by Muslims who had overrun Spain and Portugal, had tried to invade France, who were pressing on Greece, and who had taken the Holy Land and made it dangerous for christians to visit. They started it, the christian Europeans took action. The Europeans grew up and got over it. They didn't. Cultures and societies have changed. Christianity is the same.
