On July 1, student loan interest rates are set to double, but it seems that Congress will step in just in time to prevent this from happening. Although doubling interest rates was eluded, other parts of the deal will have students paying interest on loans while they are in school and immediately after they graduate. Maxwell John Love, a student at University of Wisconsin -- Madison, joins us with more.

When the present generation of college-age Americans finally realizes what the Baby Boom generation has done to them, there will begin a period of intergenerational emnity that will exceed even the internecine violence that occurred during the American Civil War! This will lead swiftly to untenable levels of civil disorder and the end of the United States of America. Congrats Greedy Geezers!

The Quebec students are succeeding because they are organized and motivated. In most of the rest of Canada and the United States students are divided, apart, and afraid. To create change you have to unite together, make decisions together, and have the confidence and faith in your cause that motivates you to get out there and fight for justice.

See this positive PROOF that interest is a major disaster in the world that is why it is banned in ISLAM to deal with interest in any way shape or form read about it everything in the world would be much better off with no interest at all.

I agree with your sentiment because I've witnessed it on my own behalf, but I doubt you understand the full repercussions of this mentality, it won't be the end of America but it will the forging of a new Era.

Education is indeed a right, and everybody has the resources to give it to themselves. But when society depends on institutions to sell them pieces to paper proving an "education," something is wrong.
