Well this is my first time lapse shot using the Nikon D40x and Camera Control Pro 2. There are a number of things that I learned from this, the biggest being - use a manual white balance rather than auto. It was shot in 10 second intervals over 50 minutes.

I shot this on my D40x using camera control pro 2 and tethered to a laptop. This was my very first time lapse test. Here is my latest work - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oipwlcy2_IQ

  • This is at Bohner lake named after farmer Bohner outside of Burlington Wisconsin. This lot belonged to Frank Schwaller who owned The Schwaller Land Company. Love the view!!!!

  • @beaudicious Wow, it is Bohner Lake! I can not believe that you can tell that from this short clip! Send me a private message and let me know if you know more history of these lots. My family has been going up there since the late 40's.

  • How did you do the time lapse?

  • Hey there Viperv13. Thought that I posted a reply earlier... This was shot using the Nikon D40x and Camera Control Pro 2. I just set CC Pro2 to fire off the camera once every 5 seconds. You can check out some of my latest work - just search Second City Chicago Time Lapse.

  • @mmascheri ( I think I ran out of space.) 3.Frank's brother in law Adolf Lofy who had married Marie Schwaller (Helen's sister) owned Pegallow's house. He was an architect and drew the layout for the homes you see along Cardinal Trail and sold them on spec after the feud was over. That's why a lot of the homes in that area all look alike!!!

  • lovely, i'm looking to do this with my D40x, this has been a great help to see it working!

  • nice
