this album is an instant classic.... only among true STP fans.... the rest of the bandwagon fans who only know core wont understand the new album... been waiting nine fucking years for a new STP record and im extremely happy with the new album

Thing is, that's not the case with a lot of STP fans like me.

Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty good album with some great tracks in it, but it just isn't the STP I fell in love with back in the 90's.

Now, I'm not against a band changing styles. At all. But with this new album I think STP just left behind everything that made them unique. Tiny Music, Purple, N.4 and Core are the sound that made STP the band that it was, to ME.

This new album is great, but it's not STP.
