You didnt even get to see the rest of the island because if you did you wouldnt be saying ignorant things like that. Bahamians live just as good or better than the average american. The Bahamas also has the third highest standard of living in the western hemisphere after the US and Canada. I suggest you go to Europe on your next vacation. Oh wait, they dont like your american arrogance there either, just stay in your trailer park next time.

I'm from Haiti, and yes the slums in Haiti are far worse then this but we have some of the most wealthiest neighborhoods just like anyother country. No every country is 100% perfect.
