During the 1990s, aviation videographer Daniel Frohriep video documented many flights aboard Russian classic airliners before the types were withdrawn from service and replaced with newer western equipment.
In this DVD, Daniel takes us for exciting flights aboard Balkan An-24 LZ-ANL, which was formerly DM-SBA of East Germany's Interflug.
On October 31, 1998, we join the full ompliment of passengers for the boarding and departure from Istanbul to Sofia. A few days later on November 5, 1998, we again join the passengers and
cockpit crew for the return flight from Sofia back to Istanbul.
On this DVD, most of the action is filmed from the flightdeck with great views of the egine starts, take-offs and landings, with lots of live ATC. This unique DVD also presents nice cabin footage, as well as exterior boarding footage. The An-24's superb engine sounds alone are well worth the price of admission! This is truly a must have DVD for An-24 fans and all lovers of classic Russian built airliners.

Now that looks like a nice, comfortable cabin! With plenty of headroom; more so then even the newer Embraer jets!
