Arduino iTunes Status LED Project - Free Source Code!

This is another Arduino/Serial Communication project of mine. This project involves the communication between the Arduino, Applescript, a compiled C program, and iTunes. This project displays a green LED if iTunes is playing a song and a red LED if it is not. This is a basic project but is intended for the advanced user. I'm trying to send info TO applescript via an arduino over serial to control iTunes. Could you help me out? I've been looking EVERYWHERE and this is the best info that I could find on serial communication.

@FutureInventions I am not sure of how to send serial back to Applescript. I would think something would need to listen to the port and send data to the applescript. Sorry about that.
