When I was five, my mom kicked my dad out. When I'd cry about it, my dad would sing this to me. My parents eventually reconciled, and they promised it would never happen again. It's been 10 years since then, and this is the first time I've heard this song since then. And now they're getting divorced, and he sings it to my little sisters. I love you daddy. <3

Brett was pure genious, tortured by his own personal deamons. Please, don't point the finger. You can't know another person's pain unlesss you can get into their skin and see the world from behind their eyes! I suppose he was driven to do what he did, and did NOT do it from lack of love for his daughters. His wife divorcing him didn't help.

Please remember him for his music and creativity, not his pain!!
