Hannibal Music Video: THE BOOK ENDING

I wasn't satisfied with the movie ending (i'm sure many of you weren't either), so I decided to make a video with the ending as in the Thomas Harris' book: Clarice wakes up, she hears Dr. Lekter playing harpsichord, she walks to Him. Then we see them speak while having supper... Dr. Lekter reminds Clarice how FBI took everything from her, broke her hopes, made her cry... Then he confesses that it was her who saved him, he owes her everything. She remembers.... And then they kiss :-P
Time passes, and we see a nice car parking near Opera somewhere in Buenos Aires. We see a well-dressed man with a very beautiful lady. They came to watch opera. We'd rather not follow this couple after they leave Opera, it will be better if they not clap eyes on us ;-)

This video is dedicated to all fans of Hannibal Movie and especially to my best friend in YouTube - Missy (xagentxdanaxscullyx). Dear, i know that you prefer J.Foster as Clarice Starling, but unfortunatelly i didn't have enough material for making video with her :))

umm, this is wicked awesome! You know this song is one of the only two that come to mind as a love song for them, the other being a celtic love song called The only promise that remains.

Perfect, perfect. Why the film makers didn't have the courage to stick to the book stunned me. There was no other outcome than these two....

Mutual respect, a strange friendship, mystery, eroticism, how else could it have ended.

i was dissatisfied with the movie's ending going with the hollywood way and leaving an opening for a possible sequal that never was, but after finishing reading the novel a new minutes ago, i was even more dissatisfied with the novel's ending. I was preparing for an unhappy endind where both would die.

@IzzySmith1969 I don't know about that. Hannibal did afterall cut off his own hand for her after kissing her. Dosen't that show a lover interest? and after all i think it is pretty clear there was something going on between them. Anyways i hate both endings. They should've died That's what i was expecting.

they changed the ending to get Jody Foster to rephrase her role as Clarisse because she did not like how the character developed and the eating of the brain was to dark for her and she did not want to be portrayed that way ...that was the gossip at least but even after they changed the ending which PISSED off Thomas Harris.she still did not take the part so it must be some other reason.which only she knows.....

The book is the truth... Hollywood hates a good love story between an FBI agent and the "criminal" she's hunting. After all... crime can never pay, can it? But to win someone with truth and love... well... Hollywood does so hate that.
