  • wow, this sounded awesome! Back when I used to play piano (I'm slowly picking it back up), which was my go to piece that I'd play for competitions, adjudications, and recitals. You've done this song more justice than I've ever played it or heard it played. Thanks so much for posting such a lovely rendition!

  • Thank you! :-)

  • I don't know a whole lot of people who could turn that actually very difficult piece and make it look like the easiest in the world, AND make it sound that beautiful. GREATGRERATGREATGREAT job!

  • This piece is one of those examples as being easier said than done. At first glance, the music seems relatively easy to play. However, when you take in account the rhythm, voicing, balance, rests, holds, etc. it is much harder than it seems. I have learned through playing that things like rests, holding notes for the exact amount of time written, etc. is of the most importance. You took these things in to account very accurately. Many pianists feel like the pedal is a substitute for this. Bravo!

  • O thank you so much! That was really nice said of her!

I hope your daughter will play it beautifully for you one day!
