The End Of GodKillzYou

I've decided that since my apostasy from Christianity, my screen name that I'd adopted, "GodKillzYou" has been in need of a change. I feel that the name is not only offensive, but also doesn't portray the image that I want to put forth as a person who is open-minded and willing to have open dialogue with those who have opposing belief systems - in an attempt to reach a common understanding.

i have a question? where you hurt from your church, do you feel that God doesnt exsist because "christians" claim to serve a God of love yet fail to portray it through their lives?

I don't really think that I was hurt BY the church. More than anything else, I think that I felt duped. I invested so much of my life studying the Bible, defending Christianity, only to realize that I was completely wrong.

By shedding this "GodKillzYou" screen name, I've also shed that resentment and anger. I can consider myself an Atheist without that baggage.

Interestingly, while I talk a little about religion these days, it hasn't been my focus. Mostly Determinism, lately
