My mistake, they paired up in Dallas at Crossroads 2004.

just wondering and asking those who were there for Jeff.
so, did Jeff actually perform with 2 different backup bands?
one with the impressive 21 yr old Tal Wilkenfeld
on bass, and another with equally impressive Randy Hope Taylor ???

not at this concert. i don't recall anyone extra playing with him, he was just there for his set.
and yeah all the guitarists there (except for beck and john) were more blues oriented, so it wouldnt have worked for one of them to come out. (and if jeff beck joined them for one of their jams at the end he probably would of left them all behind).
this was the best part of the day by far, i was out of my mind.

Some people cannot take the fact that the young girl playing bass is just great!! she's right in the pocket,has great tone and groove like hell, she sounds so much more mature than a 22 years old white chick!! I love her.
