THE FIDDLERS ON THE ROOF

Rudi Giuliani has matched the performance of the Fiddler on the Roof, here performed by Charlie Daniels, by claiming that Obamas administration is incompetent. Giuliani has an argument: Khalid Sheikh Mohammed should not be tried in New York, he should be before a Military Tribunal, presumably to cover up the argument, offered by his attorney that his so-called confession was coerced by torture. His latest argument: the cost of the KSM trial would exceed $1 billion. There is another possible reason, though: some 10,000 pending cases against the City, against the Port Authority and Giuliani. They were under pressure to settle because of the upcoming KSM trial.
