  • If you hold the billet in the forge layer edges up, the flux will get in between the steel bars and work better.

    You can turn the billet when it's in the forge to be sure the flux has covered all surfaces inside.

    I flux over a pot so I can reuse it and it doesn't steal the heat from the billet like that anvil just did.

    Nice setup.

    I'll be building one for sure.
