  • :04 hey, its joe torre

  • @arkady714 IM sorry your knowledge of the yankees is in your ass sir....I hope in the future you dont talk about the Knicks losing the 1994 NBA championship because Willis Reed had a bad game LOL!

  • @henhao1972 I'm sorry I made you cry. I truly am. If I knew that my posting would have hurt you or any other woman who loves the Yankees, I never would have posted what I did. I just hope that you'll be ok.

  • @arkady714 To Mr. Moron or arkady....Steinbrenner was suspended around 1990 and came back in 1993...where the hell do u get ur facts from? Your Ass? We was there for all of the yankees resurgence....if you want to post ...please dont pull facts from your ass...thank u

  • i miss this show. They need to a Bronx is Burning part 2, the 1978 season.

  • I should have a nickel for every time I thought to myself in the summer of '77 (and '78) "Why doesn't Steinbrenner just put on a uniform and manage the freaking team?! He's always so damn smart, let's see HIM do a better job than Billy!" Yeah, he dumped a ton of money into the team. But it was during his suspension that the Yanks had the late '90s dynasty and his absence that gave us ring #27 in '09.

  • Thanks for posting this! It was by far my favorite scene of the whole series. Yogi's annoyed expression was priceless.

  • @McDago100 Billy Martin did a great job everywhere he went, but I think what he did in Oakland was probably the greatest turn arounds in baseball history. Like you, I like to remember him for his successes.

  • Very well, YOGI you're the manager.

  • mcdago the first ever baseball i went to was with my late mom at yankee stadium june 22 1980 and in that game rickey henderson had a bunt double oakland 5 yankees 2
