Of course, It will never be the same feeling playing with your friends on a same TV screen with controllers and fair play, I agree with you.

But this game has a great community and will keep you entertained for hours. You can make a lot of friends playing GE:S. Sad thing is that not much people anymore play the game all using their microphones to give a better feel at the gameplay. And alone-on-the-pc? You should do LAN parties more often.

@filou13 Then may I just bitch in by saying this: GoldenEye Source is not GoldenEye and will never be. GoldenEye os that cool FPS played on the N64, with friends, all together, with a low framerate and all those funky bugs. It's not one of those nerdy alone-on-the-pc personnality-less games.
