i know i'm rehashing an old post, but the reason it crashed is because while it's flying, the wings give it lift. when he tried to make the sharp turn, it still created lift although the plane was at such an angle that lift forced it towards the ground as opposed to higher altitude.

Stunning! I do although have a question. Was this the same R/C B-52 that later crashed? If so, why did it crash?
