As the producer of this political ad over 2 1/2 years ago I am surprised how relevant it still is.

What surprises me even more, however is that no opposition party has taken up the cause of high gas prices yet, through a reduction in federal tax on gas and/or through a tax credit.

If anyone wants to take up the cause and make this ad go viral, you have my blessing.

@rider4343 I thought you were right when you said that, but, as the fall session ends, I know for certain that we are a changed country, and that Harper has just begun his rightward shift of Canada's political landscape. Just look: closure, incamera meetings, raming bills through with no consultation, refusing to hear witnesses,for what? To abolish the CWB? To make sure the gun registry data is destroyed? Harper is an affront to democracy, and things will get much worse before they get better.

@pspbr11 Thanks man. I WILL keep fighting. I figure if my Dad fought fascism in WWII then I have an obligation to fight fascism in 2011. For me, fighting Harper and his creepy supporters is my way keeping faith with my Dad. And Harper and the really vicious trolls on these pages ARE fascists. No doubt about it.
