  • With what command can i remove opera?I downloaded it as tar.gz...So now it opens through terminal....

  • @Estonian7 Dude, that was the one thing i got on Ubuntu.

I do not know how to uninstall the software I installed. Try searching on Google. If not, I'll try to send you the instructions.

  • Opera is lame, chrome is unlame, firefox is the lamest, ubuntu is just sad

  • @hitman7112 Have you even tried Ubuntu?

It's free, It's exactly like Mac. Look up Operating Systems, Wikipedia. Mac runs on Linux, and Ubuntu's kernals that. No viruses. It's just Mac only makes their programs for so called "Mac" . Ubuntu is so customizable, Compiz is so far advance. Windows can't, if you install 3rd party applications. Super buggy (Windows Blinds, etc) Try the latest. And install Docky, Compiz + Extra Compiz. Free, No Viruses, Fully Customizable.

  • @MicroHelper Yes I have tried Ubuntu, I knew you where gonna ask me that question. I am an advanced comp user and even then I find Ubuntu to be just sad

  • @hitman7112 Why's that? The Effects are far advance. There's a new format to install Ubuntu on. Far Advance. It's not sad, it's the companys who won't support Ubuntu. Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere pro, Etc. If all the companys knew, Ubuntu wouldn't be a problem. Windows & Mac are just scared cause Ubuntu may be the best.

But I like using Windows 7 & Ubuntu 10.04. Both are no problem.

I assume you prefer Windows Vista or 7? Those are crap systems.

I am right now on a comp that came pre-loaded with Vista. It took a half hour to boot up Minecraft. On Ubuntu it too 1-2 minutes. Ubuntu is a miracle.

  • You say Ubuntu and Linux really strangely...

  • Never mind it doesn't matter i downloaded the .deb package and got it installed as it should...

  • Opera , Linux and Google are the best three thing in the world
