  • toiletholder, baka po meron kayo mga tagalog song ng Tres Rosas....Please! My mother loves to listen to this type of music...

  • Sorry. I only found one album by Tres Rosas and it's Cebuano.

  • i wish may tagalog din...

  • Everyday is a day for Tagalog. You should expand your music consciousness to include the rest of the Philippines. Tagalog music is NOT the best music of the Philippines, albiet the most popular. Tagalogs songs have a tendency conservative and mathematical. Visayan songs have more emotion and have more organic notation. Listen to a Bisaya song like Wasay-Wasay and compare it to a song like Ang Tangi Kong Pag-ibig. Even though they are both sad Kundiman-like songs Wasay-Wasay is more creative.

  • Wasay-Wasay has more playful notation and longer phrasing. Ang Tangi Kong Pag-ibig has only short musical phrasing, each phrase exactly complementing a pairing phrase. I'm not a musician so I can only explain this to you with these terms I made up, but I'll try to explain it better. Here are the paired up phrases I'm talking about:

    1. a) Ang Tangi Kong pag-ibig--b) ay minsan lamang

    2. a) Ngunit Ang iyong akala --b) ay hindi tunay

    and so forth.

  • While the opening part of Wasay-Wasay has a similar dialectic approach as Ang Tangi..., the second part moves into longer phrasing:

    1. a) ang mga pasiklap sa malulot ninyong mga mata b) Daw ang maidlot nga punyal nga nagalagbas

sa himalatyon kong kasing-kasing ug kalag.

Look up the song on youtube. I posted it. Pilita Corrales. Also, compare more songs.

  • Compare Visayan songs like Rosas Pandan, Ako'y Kampupot and Sa Kabukiran to Tagalog songs like Sitsiritsit, Bahay Kubo, Sinisinta Kita. You might think that Sa Kabukiran and Ako'y Kampupot are Tagalog songs but they were composed by Cebuano Manuel Velez and the original lyrics being Cebuano. Look up "langgam nga buntog" by the Mabuhay Singers. There is more life to Visayan songs.
