One handed typing options.

There are a lot of options out there for typing with one hand. I suggest trying them all and seeing what works best for you.

Here are my recommendations in order of usefulness:

1.Teach yourself to type on a standard keyboard with one hand.
2.Get a good voice recognition program like "Dragon Naturally Speaking" (v.9 or better). This is always available on ebay, but make sure you get a normal, and not a medical version!
3. Try out the Dvorak one handed layout. http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/windowsxp/keyboardlayout.aspx
4. Buy a specific one handed keyboard. (be sure to test before you buy)

One other option, you can wear your hook and scratch up the keys (speaking from personal experience).

I just use my left hand on a standard keyboard as well.
