talk about loud, i was doing traffic patrol and was stood on the far side of the runway directly in line with the eurofighters flight line, i was stood directly underneath when it switched its afterburner on and shot of vertically at the end ! amazing experience !

Eurofighter was alout louder i thought, when i was there too :)

I thought the Vulcan was louder too, at first, but Mrs reckoned that the Eurofighter was louder. on reflection, I think my perception was coloured by reputation - Best bit was when the EF went up through the vapour layer towards the sun, and left a shadow on the cloud it had just passed through. What a plane !

the vulcan is not pushing the engines too hard like in the old days it is the only one. it is to save engines and airframe.the old displays with the V.D.F. it was ace
