  • @314299 Yes. Scattered from hell to breakfast. Or so goes the saying. They hit the ground at high speed in bad weather. The original impact crater they say was 8 feet deep. There are parts scattered for 100 metres around. It happened in September of 1944. In those days the crash site was very remote.

  • That's an interesting piece of history there.
