Good Morning Sunrise, HELLO SIREN! (Chile Earthquake Tsunami Siren Feb 27, 2010 EOWS 612)

A video recorded at 7am. this is the second civil defense siren warning that occurred in Hawaii. Sirens have gone off every hour up until 11am. The first siren occurred at 6am PST. Civil defense sirens are intended to make the community aware of the threat of a tsunami and alert people to move to higher ground. Several sirens are dispersed around the island and simultaneously go off for 2-3 minutes. The forewarning has been effective and people have vacated the low lying areas.

Just outta curiosity, do those kind of sirens in Hawaii sound off the Westminster Chimes at 12 Noon every day? My hometown of Irving, TX has those sirens that would do that...at least until 2005 when a few of them were replaced by the FS2001s.
