@aznsketcher i got and make me lazy but it nice if you got to say. save you time and not saving money cuz sometime the car run too long. but it much nicer than stay in the cold in the car to warm up.

@JAREDMICHALLE Actually, turning on the heater will increase the time it takes for the engine to rise to operating temperature, due to the fact that a heater core is in fact a small radiator, and with the fan engaged, it will be able to dissipate heat. He is simply recommending that to warm yourself. :) If your engine ever overheats, turn the heater on, with the fan on its highest setting. It may buy you just enough time to get home, or to a safe location.

how much is a remote engine starter kit including installation? I'd put that in if I live in a cold weather state...
