My Top 9 Ninth Doctor Moments

I decided to do this because I wanted to do more Doctor Who stuff, and since I'm watching through the first couple of seasons of series, and now I'm just starting on the second season, I figured I'd do this to say goodbye to the first one, and the Ninth Doctor. I may do one for the tenth, but I'll have to get the third and fourth seasons for that as well.

Also, don't complain about what isn't there or the rankings. It was hard enough for me to narrow it down to just nine great clips, and then even harder to rank them personally, but this is how it ended up. I will tell you though, that it was REALLY CLOSE between the top 3, and I'm still not totally sure about that ranking. Anyways, I'll put an annotation commentary on this later.

Part 1 is for Series 5. If you want to do Series 1-4 you'll need to watch both parts to understand some of the things going on in Part 2. Also, you'll need the full version of BluffTitler and GOOD video editing software (sorry, but WMM or whatever Windows Live gives you now, I don't know, won't cut it).

Well to each his own. I for one feel privileged to have grown up with Tom Baker as my Doctor. I don't take anything away from the 3 Drs before him or the following 8 but I am so glad to say that Tom Baker was, is, and always will be my Doctor. I loved his companions too: Sarah Jane, Leela, Romana and k-9. I was especially sad when Elizabeth Sladen passed away she was so a part of my childhood RIP. Thanks for the upload and a salute to all the whoovians

@rainbirdeleven No, no, thank YOU for your good comment and your respect for my video :). A lot of people did grow up with Tom Baker, and he was the first Doctor for a lot of people. Everyone has their own first Doctor that you never forget, and for me that's Eccleston. I do quite like Baker though, especially all the Jelly Baby scenes. Though I like Pertwee just a liiiitle bit more, and Davison about as much as Baker :) Keep watching, fellow Whovian. Keep watching.

I have decided, 9 was my first doctor and he is THE Doctor. I've watched all DT's episodes and half of MS, and I've been trying to convince myself that DT was as awesome as Ten as everyone keeps saying. But 9 stays the definitive doctor for me.

Tennant was the definitive Doctor, but Eccleston's character and episodes were so much better written. Also, maybe I like Eccleston better because there aren't any fangirls.

@Cool70sfreak Unfortunately in any fandom you eventually encounter extremists and idiots. You just learn to ignore them.

@commissarusa The thing about fandom is that everyone takes what they prefer from it. No one's view is any more valid than another's. Some choose to enjoy the story aspects, others the romantic elements and some just want to imagine themselves inside of the story. I choose to enjoy it from all of the various ways for myself. I don't like to limit my enjoyment of things in any way.

I was going to make all the same points as the uploader, but he beat me to it. So I'll also say that my annoyance is less about TEN IS THE ONLY DOCTOR stuff and more about the constant shipping of different companions with each other rather than actually talking about what is actually going on in the show. Nobody fawned over the Ninth Doctor because he made us care about him and what he was doing, not about the contents of his Time Lord pants.

@iammadness The problem isn't the fact that there are girls in Ten's fandom. The problem is that they are fangirls to an extreme, a.k.a. "OH MY GOD TEN IS THE DOCTOR, THE ONLY DOCTOR, ALWAYS THE BEST, MATT SMITH AND CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON SUCK COMPARED TO TENNANT" so on and so on and so on. It really irritates me, because it's stupid blindness. So many fangirls of the Tenth Doctor I find are like that, sadly.
