Oh great, like we need another blue dog in the Senate. It's these blue dogs that have caused progressives in the democratic party to lose enthusiasm in the recent polls in VA. NJ and now even the bluest of blue MA.. I think the democratic party is on the verge of destroying itself. It's unfortunate but Rethuglicans are more disciplined than Dems and were able to do more with 51 seats in the Senate than Dems have with 60 seats. Too bad dems are wussies.

@oldtownkid It's not always about racism but the Republican Party of Tennessee run a racist ad in the last days of his senatorial campaign depicting a blonde bimbo telling him "call me" which obviously stirred up the great discomfort white southerners have with interracial relationships, he subsequently lost his lead and ultimately lost. But he did come close.

Or just look for this one example here on youtube... a clip with the label "Meet Harold Ford, Jr.: Ann Coulter's Favorite Democrat.". This guy is not a mainstream Democrat. I hope african-americans in new york don't let this guy fool them. How old are you? Did you pay any attention to the 2006 elections? Leave Gillibrand alone, she's doing a great job.

@oldtownkid: I don't know if Kirsten Gillibrand made her intentions on Running for Senate in 2010 yet, if she does than Ford may have trouble winning. But not to defend Ford's Vote, but Ford was doing what he was elected to do Represent-Pandering to his district which was suburbia Memphis, TN where the Majority of people in his district was Baptist Pro-Lifers and NRA Hunters, Ford may bring a more Mainstream Democratic Platform to NY, but who knows.. We Certainly don't want Peter King to win..
