are you able to go to school, and still have a job at the same time?

yes you could but there is a lot of time committed to the program. so it just depends how busy you want to be.

was getting in the program hard?

cause I just move out here to Vegas and was thinking about going for the program...

like what do you have to exactly do to get in?

its was alot easier back when I applied,

now its very difficult, huge demand and less slots open

the rad office has a list of things you need to apply

How many students did you start out with and how many did you lose? How many actually finished and graduated? How is the job market in Las Vegas for x-ray techs? Did you and all your classmates get jobs in x-ray after graduation or did they all go on to further their education like going into CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, teaching, etc? Is the UNLV program a 2 or 4 year program? Why did you choose to study radiography?

for my class we had around 45 and ended with 35. job market was great when we graduated in 07. most of my classemates got jobs and branched out to different modalities after we completed the 2 year program. As for the last question, i like to take pictures. lol

yeah, definately take if slow and enjoy every moment. it goes quicker than you think. graduation was fun too. i have a video on my page of our ceremony and also our graduation cruise. check it out. thanks for the comment
