@nothlithawk777 Although your comment is 1 year old, I'd like to point out that David Foster did write this song. It's also mentioned on JAL (Japan Airlines)'s official website. So I don't know where you got the information that David didn't write this song. He wrote this song for JAL as their official PR song. Not just as Mcphee's single.

This song played at my wedding when my wife walked down the aisle. It was one of the best moments of my life. David Foster wrote an incredible song and Katharine McPhee sang it as only she could.
