DISCLAIMER: This video is purely fan made. I am not associated with the creators of used materials. I do not own the song and the shows. All material is used for non-profit entertainment, and it is copyrighted to its original owners.

2.ABOUT THE CONCEPT(s)
The whole video is about a will of understanding, as well as a will of receiving answers for questions. Fans ask one other about sense of each scene, and characters look for meaning of their actions. The problem is that charas lose their motivation, and it is harder for them to find *any* answer. Besides, RoE is being made, and the final parts of it are yet to come. After watching "You can(not) advance", I am excited, yet afraid of the new, alternative vision of Eva Universe. Asuka replacing Touji, M-girl [Er, I mean, "Za biisto" girl :P ] who makes no sense in appearance so far, and so on, and so on...

The second concept is matching Evangelion events with lyrics, obviously. A large part of text reminds me the relation between Shinji and Gendo. Also, I associate the "sickness" from song with mental problems of charas. So, those two themes are clear.
Asuka's "hate which likes her" - dolls. NGE!Asuka hates dolls. RoE!Asuka [aka Shikinami] possesses a doll and talks to it. What the...?

The last concept is the play with my own observations. This concept covers many other sub-ideas. Comparing the scenes from NGE and RoE is just the beginning. [Why won't I compare screenshots for evageeks? xF ]
Manga versus anime. I managed to purchase only the fifth part of manga, yet I felt disappointed when I realized how much "graveyard scene" differs in each media. I support manga version more, therefore I put the anime footage in such a way which would remind manga version. Also, I was lucky enough to see online the manga version of Misato's death. And guess what... :F
There are many questions of mine attached to this AMV. "What is the new sense of Shinji's SDAT player," for example; "Why tracks 25 and 26?," "What is the new role of each character?," "Why did a number of religious references increase?," etc.
Well, I do read evageeks' wikia; yet, I have my own theories.

3.LYRICS
I'm so sick of the sickness
Everything just makes me think
I wish I could say you were
Nothing to me nothing anymore
I guess I like this hate
Just how the hate likes me
But the harder that I try
Just helps the fear that's
hiding deep inside of me

But now I feel you calling out
I wish that I could understand
why you want to
(and now) I feel you calling out
I wish that I could understand
why you want to?!?!

You're the forgotten reminding me
You're the one that never sees
I'm the one step forward
You're the two steps back
You'll never be a part of me

But now I feel you calling out
I wish that I could understand
why you want to
(and now) I feel you calling out
I wish that I could understand
why you want to?!?!

So sick of the sickness
'Cause it breaks me down
me down
You hide in the shadows
Disillusioned
never speak my name

It's hiding deep inside of me
You'll never be a part of me

But now I feel you calling out
I wish that I could understand
why you want to
But now I feel you calling out
I wish that I could understand
why you want to
(and now) I feel you calling out
I wish that I could understand
why you want to?!?!

  • only...139 views?Well, its a really good amv, which is why im gonna give some critique, which i wouldn't do with mediocre amv's.

Its pretty clear that the scene cutting side and effects are quite good, but it sometimes felt like there were effects, just of the sake of the effect and not to increase some emotion. With really good amv,s i usually get emotionally involved, which this didnt achieve.Probably because scene choices that didn't fit that well into the next ones.etc.

  • @Bratcipheo Interesting. Thank you for feedback. :]

  • Gratuluje udanego clipu.

Musiało Ci zająć trochę czasu zmontowanie i dodanie efektów :)
