@kaileyxix14 should be easy for a person playing for 5 years

Yes, I played it many times after that -- it is a wonderful piece. I later went on to learn the Baroque violin and played all the other Ctos from Vivaldi's Op. 3 -- I came to discover why the works are titled "Harmonic Heat," (L'estro armonico) -- they are very hot (sensual) harmonically and quite exquisite in their craftsmanship.
I think Joyce said i have to play Accolay for trying out for 1st violin in PYCO

@Grobanite122549 That's great! It's a good audition piece. I hope you've started on it. Two months is about right for preparation. You might want to get my full video :-)
Good luck. Tomorrow I leave for Bolivia for five weeks. Best regards.

Great lesson. Reminds me of the good old days when I could stop playing and tell my teacher "I have no idea what I'm doing, show me!", now I'm stuck in college being told "I don't care if you don't know how, figure it out, I'll show you once and you better never forget it". Also, mr. sonne, would you play the triplet part in first or second position?

Hi akm, I assume you mean the passage at bar 133. I play it in first position. I had never thought about playing it in second. I tried it out today. It's an interesting idea. Thanks for pointing it out to me. I guess it could go either way. Here's hoping you and your teacher can work things out between you.
