Concrete Slump Test

Though FORTA-FERRO® is hydrophic and cannot absorb water, the fibers do act as a binder or cohesive agent to some degree, especially at higher dosages. As a result, the visual slump, as measured by the slump cone, will often be reduced with fiber, even though actual workability is not affected to the same degree. The use of superplasticizer additives is recommended where necessary to regain slump loss.
