Funny to think this was when Punk was going tame?
...it only lasted 2 years really....wasn't the same once the 'newness' had worn off.

I must admit I saw this on TOTP2 in the 90s when I was a kid and I wasn't at all impressed by Poly Styrene's singing. Now I see it again and think she was one of a kind. It's sad to learn she died recently. You can hear their music's influence on a lot of this so-called cutting edge indie stuff now. Particularly "Oh Bondage Up Yours" on groups like Le Tigre.
