This 80-minute documentary focuses on the growing "wealth gap" in America, as seen through the eyes of filmmaker Jamie Johnson, a 27-year-old heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune. Johnson, who cut his film teeth at NYU and made the Emmy®-nominated 2003 HBO documentary Born Rich, here sets his sights on exploring the political, moral and emotional rationale that enables a tiny percentage of Americans - the one percent - to control nearly half the wealth of the entire United States. The film Includes interviews with Nicole Buffett, Bill Gates Sr., Adnan Khashoggi, Milton Friedman, Robert Reich, Ralph Nader and other luminaries.

NO! I don't ever (in ANY of my comments) suggest a government "fix" to the problem. If some people read that into it they are wrong. I was simply pointing out the fact that a LOT of people don't have the mental/physical or educational ability to climb out of the low wage working pool. The freeways are full of people that are capable of contributing SO much more and earning a lot more if given the chance. Reality of 2013 is that there a too many "wage slaves" that unlike you and I are stuck.

I would respect this guy and his work, had he spent a month living under the same conditions others live.

What you say is somewhat true. If a person can get rich - fine - but many people get rich by the ruthless techniques of exploitation and crime. It is hard to get rich - it's like a jungle - only a few wolves get a lot of money.

Yes, it is scary how half of the economy is riding on some of these idiots. The cab driver was the smartest of all of them lol. It surprises me how full of fear wealthy people are, I guess they are always scared of losing everything.

Yes, you are correct...I found myself scratching my head after this, as there is no conclusion, no moral, just interviews with those who manage money for the mega rich, or with some uninterested relatives.

Money must be circulated and invested to improve society, and these people are simply interested in accumulating more, and buying more to increase their control.

    Everything isn't 'fine'.

I disagree. Most rich people earned their wealth by paying slave wages to their employees. Many rich - though not all - commite crimes to get money. And banks print fiat money to get the interest that transfers wealth from the middle and lower classes to the upper class. You look very young. As you get older you will learn about the viscious way the world is set up.
