Because when this was released in the US, the American Anime was only up to f-ing Baroque Works, where as the Japanese Anime was in the CP-9 Saga. Most American One Piece games are like this.

Its simple like this. In japan R and L are the same sound

@kaothic86 Only some of the R's are L's. Like Light from Deathnote. His name is Light in English but in Japanese (since they cant say Light) they say Righto. So it is like Raito. But it is actually Light. Ryu from Street Fighter is Ryu. So, In English, "Ruffy" is Luffy and "Rob Rucci" Rob Lucci. ^^

I am portuguese and I bought One Piece Pirates´Carnival for an American site, but I can´t play, my PS2 says that it can´t read the CD. Please i need help!

@ricardinhotuga European consoles can't normally play American or Japanese games, unless you mod them.

Beat Grand Line 1 against 3 CPUs in Difficult. Then beat Grand Line 2 against 3 CPUs in Very difficult.
