Man; I Loved The Soothing Music On The Video! The WNY&P Is Pretty Cool And They Stay At The Meadville Yard And I've Seen The Black And Yellow And Probably The White; Grey; And Yellow Locomotive.
I Believe They Were LA&L 424 And WNY&P 426. Take Care. Jacob D.

I didn't think of it as sad, just contemplative.

The Black, Yellow & Grey units look like some Ex-BRC units - it's the same paint scheme and I know they sold them off a while back. Are these the same?

Yes, they are ex-BRC C424's.

cool cool, i think the red paint looks better than the black and yellow L,A&L paint and thanks for the info, thinking about modeling the WNY&P

The red paint job is actually the Arkansas & Missouri's scheme, as the unit belonged to them prior to the WNYP. They have a whole fleet of C420's and T-6's in this scheme. Very classy.

what type of Alco is WNY&P #630? and is it still running?
ljones1111 3 years ago
It is an MLW C630M, which was the Canadian version of the Alco C630. Later, after Alco closed, MLW revised some features and changed the model designation to M630.
And yes, it's still running.
