Maybe, although that plugin is made for Photoshops that are 7+, l think u just forgot to restart the Photoshop..

Do I need 32-bit or 64-bit?

It depends on ur specs.. If u have a 32bit system get the latest 32 bit vr. of the plugin..If 64 then 64bit vr.
Easy enough??
U can check ur specs by clicking on properties of 'My computer '..
If u still have that old XP though, go to the 'Control panel' and then to 'Proformence & Maintance' then u supposed to find a task called 'Show basic info of the computer'.. (Best guess for XP, I haven't used it in ages)
l can't help u with Mac though.. :s

Nope. Every game that supports Direct Draw Serface (DDS images, DDS Cube maps and so on..)
