John Bickford is the step-dad of NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon, and was Jeff's racing inspiration and mentor from the time that he was old enough to race go-karts. Today, Bickford is the Vice President of Operations at Jeff Gordon, Inc., and is heavily involved in all aspects of Gordon's career.
Over the years, Bickford has been a senior executive for many various motorsports operations, and has amassed an amazing collection of NASCAR and racing memorabilia. Some of which has been stuffed into a locked cabinet in one corner of his shop for more than a decade!
The collection includes everything from one-off diecast cars, licensing samples of collector cards that never saw production, pieces of Jeff's early race cars, and even some of the uniform shirts and apparel that only team members had access to. Bickford decided that the stuff is doing nothing but taking up space in his shop, so he might as well let Jeff's fans and collectors have a shot at owning it.
So he's auctioning all of it off to the highest bidders on GoMotorBids.com, the most trusted and revered auction site for automobile aficionados and racing collectors.
