You're amazing inspiration to others. I don't know what happened for you to lose both your legs, but you obviously have an incredible amount of determination.

Staff Sgt. Calhoun lost both legs while serving in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne division in Mosul Iraq when his unit came under attack. He was hit by an RPG that exploded and amputated both legs above the knees.

Heath actually discovered the people that would fit him successfully and teach him how to be a full time prosthetic user almost 3 years after his injury. Yes, the computerized prosthetics are about 42-45K each. But can you put a price on what Heath sacrificed while serving in Iraq??? No cost should be spared for him and any wounded service member!!!

The U.S. Veteran's Administration is completely dedicated to doing anything for any combat wounded service-member. I even know a Vietnam era veteran that lost both legs 40 years ago who is now walking with prosthetics because of seeing Heath and the VA paying for his prosthetic care!
