Don't step on the platforms at the start - you need to be able to return to get the star!

You can stand on any part of the green platforms as it's disappearing until it's entirely gone, so don't worry!

Don't ever look back! Get as many coins as you can in an area, and move on! You can grab 100 easily, if you go in a wide circle around Luigi.

Thanks, this was the last star before I beat the game with Mario. It helped cause I used to think you had to get all of them like in Super Mario Galaxy 2
