This is how to obtain Nobunaga Oda's fourth weapon: Demon Regalia.
To get this, you need to play the stage "Battle of Tetorigawa" on Hard or higher difficulty. Requirements are to assist the retreat of your allies. You do this by going to where there need help and defeating the officer they have engaged. Once you defeat the enemy officer, they will then move to their respective 'X' marked on your map. Time Limit may or may not exist.
Your level should probably be around 20-30 to get this on Hard. I am playing on Expert, so expect some differences. Some things to know about this character:
Nobunaga is a little bit of a powerhouse. One of his specials is to strengthen his weapon for about 10 seconds. What happens is that his weapon glows brighter depending on how much strength you put into it, which is classified into 3 different levels Upon use of his weapon special, you get a damage boost and your attack speed increases by 1.5x. What's more is that using Vehemence (his self skill) makes it even more powerful for more bonus damage. This move also allows him to finish his C2, C3 and C4 combos like he had in SW1.
Now that I've explained this, you will find out why his C5 attack is so awesome. Nobunaga's new charge attack in XL is to thrust his sword with enough force to skewer the opponent. When he pulls the sword out, the foe takes major damage and your weapon is automatically enhanced to the second level. This attack is a grab, so it is unblockable; perfect for officers. There's only one downside to this attack. That is the very narrow range when you lunge forward.
It is quite difficult to reach a target officer when you are fighting one-on-one at close range. More often than not, you will lunge right past the officer, giving him or her a chance to attack. Using this move on large crowds is a great lead-in for Musou Attacks. The enhanced power probably bumps your attack speed up to 1.8x and the dark pillar will pummel nearby foes. You can only get the best out of his offensive when you have Awakening 2. Awakening 3 will just simply sap life from your foes, while forcing you to finish them off after the Musou.
Basically, Nobunaga is a damage-stacking beast. His horseback has insane reach and you can lay down some real hurt real fast. I had some fun doing this stage, and hope that his fifth is even more enjoyable to obtain.
Note that some cutting occurred and it's obvious where. The officer introduction scenes look like that because I forgot that resizing interlaced video makes permanent artifacts when you do it wrong.
Do I have to have XL for the 4th weapon?

"Nobunaga Oda has defeated a Peasant!" I'm not sure why, but that made me crack up. And dang, Nobunaga looks fun to play, he's practically flying all over the place.

I was pleasantly surprised. Super wide range, good damage and much capability with the Musou attack, even if it's not at level 3. His C5 just makes things even more crazy.
