@netmeistr329 we still watch gunsmoke daily its just about all we watch my kids 6,7 and 8 also watch it its our show has been for years on our 2nd set of cds wore the first set out

I'm 60 years old and can remember Sat night snuggled on the couch with my dad eating popcorn watching Gunmoke.. Could not pronounce my s back then. Had to have my jammies on before it came on...

I love where he jokes about having to cut the interview off by 12:00 so he can watch the show. Great sense of humor!

Many of the Western stars of that era were stand up guys. Hugh O'Brian, who played Wyatt Earp, is another that comes to mind that is a real gentleman, I've read.
