Remembering Maria Sue Chapman

On May 21st 2008, singer Steven Curtis Chapman's youngest adopted daughter 5 year old Maria Sue Chapman was hit and killed by a car in the family driveway. This is a memorial video I created to honor this precious child and to share her joy. We'll see you soon, Maria.

@TheLizzieisawsome No, this is an older song off of his record "Speechless" from 1999. He wrote it for friends who had lost a child. No one could have imagined that years later it would ring so true...

It actually wasn't either one. I don't know who the child is singing at the beginning of the track but it's part of the song, which was recorded almost 10 years ago

Such a beautiful girl - there is nothing like losing a child, I pray for peace in your family and being one of gods children she is singing and dancing in heaven. When I heard this my heart stopped and I hit my knees and prayed for your family. What a perfect song great job. @rjh4509 The little girl singing was the daughter of their friends. She was killed in a car accident when she was 8, and this song was written in tribute to her. In her memory, Steven added a tape of her singing Jesus Loves Me several years before her death.
